Welcome to our inaugural campaign to keep the spirit of Pride alive in the Capitol all year long. The Pride Action Committee is the only Colorado small donor committee focused entirely on LGBTQ+ issues.

Our PRIDESgiving goal:  25 maximum donors ($50 each) by December 31.

With our initial $15 donation we were able to:

- Register our committee with the Colorado Secretary of State

- Secure our domain name and web hosting for 1 year

- Set up secure phone/email/PO Box

- Launch our initial funding campaign

In 2025, we still want to:

- Set up an LGBT-focused capitol newsletter

- Design a candidate review/approval process for donors

- Establish a qualified Board of Donors

- Create bylaws and review with elections law expert

- Enable a recruitment fund for new donors and volunteers

With these administrative hurdles out of the way, we hope to ensure effective fundraising for years to come. The Pride Action Committee will focus most of it's fundraising efforts on in-person events during June and July, and will disperse funds to candidates in the late summer and fall.

2026 Fund Goals

45% of funds supporting allied state House and Senate candidates.

35% of funds dedicated to allied parties and committees.

15% of funds allocated to rural Colorado parties.

5% (or less) on administrative and advertising costs.

PLEASE NOTE:

Pride Action Committee (PAC) is a registered Small Donor Committee (SDC). By Colorado law, PAC may only accept a maximum contribution of $50 per calendar year (January - December).

1. I am at least eighteen years old.
2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
3. I am a United States citizen.
4. This contribution is not from a corporation or labor union.
